staying on the path

No Pictures today as today was a day at the doctors for my other half. He is to undergo major knee replacement surgery as a tumor has grown there and eaten part of his knee away. A otherwise really healthy knee. The pre-assessment was done today and when the doctor tells you about of all the risk and different outcomes plus what can go wrong you are pretty devastated afterwards. I know he was shaken but I was a bit in shock and frightened. I Love this man with my all that I am, He is my Prince Charming the love of my life. I don't want to loos him! It took way to long to find him!

When we got the diagnoses it was devastating we knew that his Cancer had spread into his chest a couple of years ago not bothering him at all but that it also was growing in his knee was new for us. I have to say the NHS was brilliant asap seeing the Orthopedic doctor and the appointment to replace his knee is with in 6 weeks since we found out. Next week he will go into hospital over Easter and hope to get out with a new knee that won't bother him anymore. Or at least when it is time for the next "MOT".

I hope I can take this day and use it as a driver for my Race for Life training.
